In class Stopmo project

This was a project that I did in a stopmotion class at SVA (taught by Voltaire). It was probably one of the most important classes I've ever taken. "Can I get a piece of that?" was the very first animation that I ever worked on. I also learned how to make stopmotion puppets during this class (a process I'm still using). The animation was finished in about 15 or so hours in one of the private studios over the last three classes. It was shot under the florescent lights in the room (on a video lunch box). All the sound, VO and editing was added on my own time after the class was over.
Enjoy.

Storyboard Animatic Promo: Ray Bradbury – Solid Steel Intermission: Marionettes Inc.

I recently finished this promo for my storyboarding work. The track is Ray Bradbury - Solid Steel Intermission: Marionettes Inc. It's a song that, whenever it comes up in my playlist, seems to make my imagination flare. For the last few years I've always thought that I should draw it out. This is what I came up with. If you're wondering, it's narrated by Leonard Nimoy.

Live Action Segment to My Stop mo project.

This is a shot from Camera B on the live action segment of my stop motion project. Segments of the animation can be seen here on my youtube channel. Almost done with the project as far as shooting goes and editing is already in process. In August I'll be embarking on sound!
